Education + Outreach Coordinator

Are you passionate about education, the environment, and making a real impact? Join the East Kootenay Invasive Species Council as our new Education + Outreach Coordinator! The Education + Outreach Coordinator is a KEY role at EKISC, leading exciting initiatives to raise awareness about invasive species, coordinating dynamic outreach programs, and guiding a small team of enthusiastic summer students. If you're a creative, organized, and social media-savvy with a love for the natural world, we want you! This is a flexible, home-based position in the beautiful East Kootenay region with great benefits, including health and dental, and opportunities for professional growth.

Pesticide Applicator Job Opportunities

EKISC aims to increase the number of experienced, licensed Pesticide Applicators in the region. If you are currently licensed and would like more information about contract opportunities, please contact Emma De Groot, EKISC's Field Operations Manager, at emma@ekisc.com for more details.

2024 Expression of Interest

The East Kootenay Invasive Species Council provides a role of coordinating the management of invasive species across the East Kootenay region. To accomplish this, EKISC contracts the work out to qualified and experienced pest management experts.

 

Every year, EKISC advertises an Expression of Interest to identify the capacity and availability of known and new pesticide applicators. If you are interested in contract work with EKISC or would like to learn more about this process, please contact Emma de Groot, Field Operations Manager at emma@ekisc.com to request an EOI package.
