Pesticide Applicator Job Opportunities

EKISC aims to increase the number of experienced, licensed Pesticide Applicators in the region.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Submissions are invited from individuals or companies who wish to be considered for a contract position in the East Kootenay for the 2017 field season:

Term: May through Nov 2017.

Responsibilities: Inventory and treatment of invasive plants.

Requirements: Valid Class 5 BC Drivers license, current BC herbicide applicators license, valid BC pesticide service license and experience in the treatment of invasive plants.

Equipment: Treatment equipment is required. Please provide a detailed list of available treatment equipment.

Work Area: Please provide preferences for work areas in 2017 (contact [email protected]>.com for work area maps.)

Budget: Please provide minimum and maximum contract budget and capacity to deliver.

Skills: Must have excellent skills in communication, planning, map-reading, organization, and record keeping, and the ability to implement weed treatments over a wide area.
